It is our understanding that every child - regardless of the origin and financial situation of the parents - should have the opportunity to take part in all school activities. This not only promotes the class community, but also prevents exclusion. In close coordination with the school, we were able to provide unbureaucratic support where it was needed. And we have achieved that in recent years all classes have been able to go on school trips and excursions together.

The association supports the school financially for numerous urgently needed things for which there are no funds available in times of tight budgets or for which there is no other sponsor. In recent years, the schoolyard has been completely redesigned, musical instruments, playground equipment and table tennis tables have been purchased, physical education lessons are made more varied with a mobile music system, the PC equipment has been partially renewed and much more.

According to the statutes, the task of the association is “to promote education and upbringing at the elementary school in the Sindlinger Wiesen”.
This is not only achieved through the voluntary work of many local helpers, but above all through the financial support of the members of the association and through donations.
The support association of the elementary school in the Sindlinger Wiesen currently has around 150 members, mainly parents and grandparents of pupils, but also former teachers and relatives and former pupils. And we still have spots available!
The association is recognized as non-profit by the Hofheim tax office. The membership fee as a supporting member or a donation can be claimed as tax deductible. Appropriate certificates can be issued.
